"Conflict minerals" generally refer to tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold which originate from mines in areas under control of armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo ("DRC") and certain adjoining countries. These mines are known to finance armed groups and fuel human rights atrocities committed in the Eastern region of the DRC.
EiKO is committed to practice due diligence within our supply–chain to ensure that specified metals are not sourced from mines in the Conflicted Region – which is controlled by non–government military groups or unlawful military factions.
EiKO fully supports this initiative and has processes and procedures in place to ensure full accountability in our supply chain. We are committed to ensuring the safety, health, and protection of people and the environment globally and will continuously work to improve these systems as necessary to meet new requirements and review this policy regularly and update them as needed.
